Visit by Prince
NZPA-JP Tokyo Prince Aya, the second son of Crown Prince Akihito of Japan, will make an unofficial trip to New Zealand for about two weeks during the summer vacation. This is the first overseas tour for the prince, who is the third in line of succession to the Japanese throne. The Japanese imperial household agency has started negotiations with Wellington through diplomatic channels on a schedule and other details of his tour.
