PA Dunedin : The. president of the Otago University Students’ Association (Mr,Paul Gourlie) has ‘ laid a • complaint with .the .Human Rights Commission about the behaviour of the Minister of Education (Mr Wellington). Mr Wellington has refused to- meet the national president of the New Zealand University Students’ Association (Mr Simon Wilson) because he considers Mr Wilson to be a Marxist'.

Under the terms of the commission, Mr Gourlie said, no-one could be discriminated against for reasons of his political beliefs.
