Wool weaker again

The trend was still downwards when wool selling resumed in Christchurch yesterday after about three weeks in which there has been no sale in New Zealand but prices have weakened overseas. The Wool Board had its busiest day this season. To the end of the third catalogue of the sale it had bid on more than 16,000 bales.

The adjusted, weighted average selling price was 257.66 c a kilogram, which was down by almost 15c on the February sale. • Details, Page 17
