THE WORLD'S BEST PLOUGHING The 27th World Ploughing Contest and the 25th New Zealand Ploughing Championships will be held on the properties of Messrs J. F. and B. F. Smith, Springs Road, Lincoln,, from May 14 to 17, 1980. May 14 and 15: New Zealand Silver Plough Final. May 16 and 17: World Ploughing Contest —34 ploughmen from 17 countries will be competing for the Golden Plough. As well there will be fun for all the family— dog trials, Police dogs, chaff cutting and threshing, a large vintage machinery display, a demonstration of ploughing by a bullock team and a draught horse team, a crafts display in a big exhibition hall, trade displays and many .other attractions. ■ ADMISSION: ADULTS $2 AND CHILDREN AND CARS FREE.
