More pool results
There have been several reports on these pages recently of the results of company pools for lambs and sheep. Waitaki NZ Refrigerating, Ltd is the latest to come to light with such a report. Its No 1 lamb pool for lambs killed in October and November and Sold in January averaged $1.68 per head above schedule for meat and skins and in its second pool for lambs killed in December and sold in February the advantage over schedule was better still at $1.98. A pool for cattle killedin November and December also bettered ■ schedule tjy an average of $1.90 per head.
