Third crash victim
A third member of a family which lost a mother and daughter in a collision near Durtsandel on Sunday died in the Ashburton Hospital yesterday. He was Blair Robert Morris, aged two, the son of Graeme Robert Morris and the late Raelene Annette Morris, who died in the two-car collision on Sunday with her daughter, Suzanne Kaye Morris, aged four.
Mr Morris, of 41 Mountain View Road, Timaru, was reported in a satisfactory condition in the Ashburton Hospital yesterday, as was the sole occupant of the other car, Hugh Donald Munroe, of Temuka. Both suffered minor injuries.
