Syndicate buys farm
An Oxford farm comprising 327 ha of arable grazing land has been bought for $530,000 by a Christchurch syndicate of farmers and businessmen. View Hill, 14km from Oxford on Woodstock Road, was offered in three separate lots at an auction by Dalgety New Zealand, Ltd and passed in at $510,000. ’ The last bidders then made a higher offer and a sale was negotiated.
