Seaman on drug count
NZPA Sydney Committal hearings against a former Auckland man, Glen Hans Andersen, who is charged with being in possession of a prohibited import, 180 grams of heroin, will be heard in Sydney in August. Andersen, aged 25, a seaman, is on bail of $30,000 after appearing in a special Federal court in Sydney on March 25.
At a remanded. , hearing yesterday, committal proceedings for the charges were set down for August 18 to 20.
No plea has yet been entered.
