Bottles not banned
Coca-Cola one-litre bottles have not been banned in the United States, contrary to a report in “The Press” of April 5, according to the general manager of Southern Botttlers, Ltd (Mr M. J. Jemison). Mr Jemison said that what had been banned in the United States was the metal tear-tabs of soft-drink cans. The one-litre bottles of Coca-Cola put on’ the market recently in New Zealand were returnable, he said.
