University students in court

PA Wellington Four university students appeared in the district court at Wellington yesterday to face charges arising from incidents in the inter-island ferry Aramoana last; Thursday. Peter Thomas WynneLewis, aged 21, of Christchurch, and Peter Ellis Finch, aged 20, of Dunedin, were charged with damaging a bar table, the property, of New Zealand Railways, to L the value of $2OO.

Philip Lloyd Taylor, aged 20, of Christchurch, was charged with behaving in a disorderly manner, and Stephen Antony Jones, aged 20, of Christchurch, was charged with using obscene language.

All four pleaded not guilty and were remanded to May 14 for defended hearings. Judge H. Gilbert released them on $3OO bail each.
