‘Delaying move’ lost
A move to have consulting engineers appointed to help with the Heathcote County Council’s new $466,000 water-reticulation scheme was beaten last evening. The move was made by Cr J. Richardson who said he was worried about costs quoted for the scheme and
the fact that county staff had not been able to answer his questions about other i likely costs. He was supported by Crs B. K. Roberts and P. E. Prebble. Or W. M. Hindmarsh said the move was a means of delaying the scheme and a reflection on the staff.
