More than six years of work will reach a climax this morning when this sleek 14m aluminium alloy yacht, owned and built by Mr Hugh Grigg, of Culverden, is launched at Lyttelton. The 12-tonne craft was scheduled to be launched yesterday, but the slow journey from Culverden was broken at McCormicks Bay to avoid disrupting early evening traffic. It is shown on its 21m transporter in McCormicks Bay Road last evening.
