Steel-export coup
The Christchurch firm of Stainless Castings. Ltd. has made another export coup. Last December the company exported $40,000 worth of heat-resistant and stainless steel tubing to Australia. Now another order of steel worth $30,000 has left the Woolton factory destined for Singapore. The shipment to Singapore comprises centrifugally formed hollow bars for use in the engineering industry. The order was secured by the New Zealand Overseas Trading Corporation.
