Stormy Morn unlucky
The Christchurch trotter, Stormy Morn, was unluckily beaten in the $BOOO Trotters Free-for-all at Fairfield last evening after being pocketed behind the pacemaker, Courting Appeal, until a few strides from the post. He finally worked clear, burst through but failed by a head to get up. The Victorian, Bold Apepa, was third, three metres away, with Waipounamu showing little dash and finishing fourth.
