N.Z. Forest eases
N.Z. Forest Products went against a firm market trend yesterday by easing 2c to 266 c, after the Government announced it would reduce a pay agreement worked out between union and management after an eightweek strike at Kinleith. N.Z.M.C. rose 5c to 125 c on the news that it was to acquire Group Rentals New Zealand, Ltd, the television-hire firm. The New Zealand sharemarket was busy, and the N.Z.U.C. index firmed 0.09 points .to 373.83.
