Man dies after crash
A man died after his car struck a w’all of the New Brighton Post Office in Seaview Road about 10.15 p.m. yesterday. Firemen had to use cutting, gear to', free the man from the wreckage of the vehicle. The man, the sole occupant of the car, was taken by ambulance to Christchurch Hospital, but was found to be dead on arrival.
The police had not released his name late last evening.
