Flitfire of pass for discussion

■A public meeting to discuss the future of the Lewis Pass region will be held at Murchison on March 1 by National Parks Authority representatives.

The meeting will be held at the Murchison District High School. The purpose of the meeting was to hear local views on the Lewis Pass region report before making a recommendation to the Minister of Lands (Mr V. S. Young) on the future status and administration of the area, said
