Response to appeal
Sir, — On behaf of Cath olic Social Services and our clients, I would like to
thank your readers most sincerely for the very generous response to our Christmas appeal as publicised through your columns recently. We are very much aware of the heavy demands made upon everyone at this time of year, and yet so many people have given tremendously, and this has enabled us to distribute many gifts to those who would be unable to buy them themselves. — Yours, etc., Rev. T. J. CAHILL, Director. December 24, 1979.
