Bushfire threat
NZPA Sydney New South Wales faces another potentially explosive day today, with heatwave conditions expected throughout the state. The Weather Bureau has predicted a maximum of
about 35deg for Sydney but the temperature is expected to be up to 39deg in the western suburbs and ranges. High temperatures and strong winds are expected to pose great fire danger in the tinder-dry inland areas of th® state.
