Section of road closed today
A section of State highway 73 between Arthur’s Pass and t)tira will be closed to . traffic today from 8 a.m. to 12 noon for repairs to the Goat Creek bridge in Otira township. A programme of reconstruction is being carried out on the bridge, sandblasting and painting the four steel spans and replacing the timber decking. Today the third span will be replaced.
