! NZPA-Reuter Seoul - A purge of the South Korean Central Intelligence! Agency appears to be under way after Friday’s assassina--tion of President Park) Chung Hee by the agency’s) director. The joint investigation) headquarters of the martiallaw command said in a statement .. it was “inivestigating a large number lof people” in connection with the killing of President Park and five others at a private K.C.I.A. hotel in Seoul. Those now under investigation. it said, were in : addition to the K.C.I.A. Kim Jae Kyu. and •’five agency staff members who were arrested immediately after the shooting. However, informed sources said between 30 and 50 K.C.I.A. officers were held in some form of detention and were undergoing questioning.
