Political workshop for nurses
A workshop to increase nurses’ awareness of politics will be held at MaSsey University from November 16 to 18.
About 300 nurses and other people are expected to attend the 1979 Norman Peryer workshop, whose theme will be “People and politics: a professional responsibility.”
Speakers will include Professor John Roberts, of the school of political science, .Victoria University. Mrs .Miriam Dell, president of the International Council of Women, Ms Christine Cole Catlev, a journalist and publisher, Miss Marilyn Waring, the National member of Parliament for Waipa, and Mrs Sonja Davies, a national executive member of the Federation of Labour.
