Export beef up 5c
Export beef prices have received a double boost. From Monday prices for all grades will be 5c a kilogram higher, reflecting the stronger market in the United States. Under the new trigger prices for the new export season, which apply from Monday, there will be no deductions for stabilisation or price-smoothing because the trigger prices are well ahead of the new schedule prices. The new prices are: Ox beef.—Pl, 122 c per kg to 132 c; G, 118 c to 128 c; LI, 121 c to r 130 c; L2, 121 c to 125 c; M, 103 c to t 112 c; T, 118 c to 122 c; E, 110.5 c to L 114.5 c. 1 Heifer beef.—Pl, 118 c to 328 c; . G, 114 c to 124 c; LI, 119 c to 124 c; L2, 119 c to 124 c; M. 303 c to 112 c: r T, 116 c to 120 c; E. 308.5 c to 3 112.5 c. i Cow beef.—Pl, 306.5 c to 116.5 c; 1 G, 104.5 to 114.5; M. 103 c to 112 c; T, 107.5 c to 111.5 c; E, 95c , to 99c. ’ Bull beef.—l2sc to 144 c. Other prices are unchanged.
