Salary increases
PA Wellington The Higher Salaries Commission has approved a review of salary increases for those under its jurisdiction, including senior State corporation, local body and university officers. The increases are: — A $365 general wage order from July 3, 1978.
— A 4.5 per cent increase in accordance with the Remuneration (General Increase) Regulations, 1979. — A 10.4 per cent increase to take account of the movement in private sector pay rates as evidenced by the Labour Department in April this year.
