Record year for Repco
Repco New Zealand, Ltd, increased total net profit for the year to June 30 38.8 per cent to a record $1,036,906. The trading profit for the year rose 50.6 per cent to $2,070,550. Sales were 29.7 per cent higher than in the previous year. The directors will recommend to shareholders that the dividend be increased 2 per cent to 14 per cent (7c a share). The amount required for this is covered 2.7 times by earnings.
