Ryder, /inishcd splendidly for third behind Ma tai Dreamer in a mobile mile on May 25 at her lone race start. Is highly talented and should be a class above this field.
Taranaki BLOW WAVE (Race 9), ch h. 5 yrs, by Azemann—Perm; trained at Feildlng, by S. Beatsoo. Has been the runner-up In each of his two races this season and should makp a respectable showing again against moderate opposition tomorrow. Waikato GAY KING (Race 9) r b g. 3 yrs. Battle-Waggon—(Jay Polo; trained at Matamata, by II W. Matthews. Second to Sovereign Step on his home course last Saturday was encouraging start to his three year-old racing. Should have improved sufficiently with that run to make a winning bid tomorrow.
