Quartet to regroup
PA Wellington The Howard Morrison Quartet, popular in New Zealand in the 19605, is regrouping for a concert at the Turangawaewae Marae, Ngaruawahia, on August 18. It has been organised to launch the Tu Tangata Trust, which is designed to further cultural and educational development at preschool, primary, and intermediate levels. Mr Morrison said yesterday that the performance would mark the twenty first anniversary of the quartet’s debut as professional entertainers. The other three members of the group were Noel Kingi, Wi Wharekura, and Gerry Merito. The concert will be televised.
