Tonga-N.Z. knitting
NZPA Nukualofa Tonga will soon have its own knitting industry using top-grade New Zealand wool, according to Govern, ment sources. A new company, Mu’omu’a Wool Products, Ltd, has been given a devel. opment licence to make quality woollen clothing, and already has orders from New Zealand and Canada. The company is a joint Tongan-New Zealand enterprise. It will be managed by a New Zealander, Mr lan Amos.
