The pumps have been dried and tested, but damage to the crusher would delay production for a week, said the owner of the pit (Mr R T. Rogers). ) Detective Sergeant R. J. I Woolhouse, of the Hornby C. 1.8., said the vandalism appeared to be the work of someone who knew' how 'he pit w’orked, and wanted Jo put it out of action.
