Refugees arrive
More than 1300 extra Vietnamese refugees have arrived in Hong Kong in seven boats, bringing the population of “boat people” in the overcrowded colony to 64,000. Despite Hong Kong’s pleas for faster resettlement of the refugees in third courftries, only 5350 refugees have left for their new homes since the beginning of this year.—Hong Kong.
