PA Wellington Mr P. B. Reweti (Lab., Eastern Maori) was sworn in when Parliament sat at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. Mr J. L. ing Performance Guarantee Corporation were tabled. Members tabled 10 notices of motion. The Arbitration (International Investment Disputes) Bill and the Estate and Gift Duties Amendment Bill were introduced. The Local Government Amendment Bill was introduced and referred to the Local Bills Committee. Ministers answered 20 questions. Debate on the Budget was interrupted by the 5.30 p.m. dinner adjournment. The House debated the Budget until it rose at 10.27 p.m.
