Del’s Dream wins in Aust.

PA Auckland Aided by the services of the top New Zealand, reinsman, Peter Wolfenden, the good Auckland pacing mare, Dei’s Dream, came into her own with a resounding win in a $3OOO race at Albion Park in Brisbane on Saturday night. Del’s Dream, a cup-class pacer and winner of an Inter-Dominion Consolation at Addington in March, went to Brisbane in the care of the Sydney trainer, Kevin Newman, mainly for the Craven Filter Championship series, which concluded on June 23. She broke hopelessly and lost all chance the first night, led and was run down into third the second night, and after missing a place in the final was a good second after losing I ground early in another race! on the final night.
