N.Z. MARKET LACKS BUYERS

The New Zealand sharemarket opened the week on a quiet note in mixed trading .vestal day. Share prices appeared to be a shade stronger in comparison with last week, but the number of issues traded was almost equal to a morning call which indicated a lack of buyers. Command Services Corporation rose 2c to 115 c on its profit announcement and dividend increase, and C'eramco firmed 3c to 183 c for similar reasons. Wines and insurers were easier as profit-taking from the higher Budget prices continued.
