Fletcher Development and
Construction, Ltd, has wot the contract to build a m>no extension to the Christchurcl Airport terminal’s pier finger The company’s $79,/8< tender, the lowest of six, was accepted by the City Council last evening Tenders ranged to $99,400. ■
The extension will make nore space for Air New Zeaand loaders and engineers, i requirement that has become increasingly urgent because of the airline merger. Fletcher Development is also building the nearby overseas passenger terminal.
