DC8 freighter planned
PA Auckland Air New Zealand is working towards flying its first all-freight aircraft, probably converting one of its last three DCBs. A proposal for the conversion of a DCB is about
to go to the Government for approval, according to reliable sources. The chief executive of Air New Zealand (Mr M. R. Davis) confirmed last evening that the airline was investigating the possibility of a DCB conversion.
