Flooding and logging
Sir, — Once again West Coast towns are threatened with flooding and State highways have been closed. Can the Government not see that further logging in the catchment areas of the Upper Grey and Maruia rivers can only intensify the problem? Nature’s balance is extremely delicate in these high rainfall areas. — Yours, etc., HEATHER DOCKERY. May 7, 1979.
