PA Hamilton The ten-year-old broodmare, Bighearted. fetchec the top price of $21,000 a! Dalgety’s Bloodstock’s inaugural mixed sale of th-or-ioughbreds in Hamilton I yesterday. Bighearted. by Bettei Honey from Sputnik, anc thus a sister to the former outstanding racemare Beatnik, was sold with a filly foal by Taipan II at foot, and a positive pregnancy test to Ruling. She was one of a numbei of offerings sold in the deplenishing sale on account ol Mr J. D. Foote’s Dee Lodge Stud, Drury, and was purchased by a Waipukurat buyer, Mr T. Hobson. A Matamata breeder, Mr F Brown, paid $18,500 for the well-performed racemare, El Katrina (el Mondo — Kitty’s Wish), offered on account oi L. B. F. Nicholson and G. Lang, of Cambridge. E! Katrina has not raced since returning from a successful campaign in Australia.
