854 calls to bureau
Many more females than males made inquiries to the Citizens Advice Bureau during December. The bureau was open for 19 days in December and handled 854 inquiries, including 583 from females, Consumer, trade and manufacture was the most popular category for queries — 113 calls on that subject were made, i Marital problems were not as predominant as they were in 1977, when 82 inquiries were made compared with last year's figure of 72.
