Greymouth reporter Cars containing two Christchurch families col-1 tided on the West Coast side! of the Lewis Pass on Mon-! day, one of the vehicles) being left with one end over the edge of a 400 m drop. ! Elaine Janet Thurlow, of) 38 Claridges Road, Northcote. the driver of one car, and one of her sons. Christ-1 opher .James Thurlow, aged 10, were admitted to the; Reefton Hospital with minor injuries. Their condition was! reported on Monday as sat-! iisfactory. I Elizabeth Smits, of 58! !Sturrocks Road. Northcote, a passenger in the other car driven by Hendrickus Christianus Smits, was admitted to the Grey Hospital with injuries to the pelvis. Her condition on Monday was given as comfortable.
