I.C.L. profit up 22 p.c.
World-wide turnover of the British-based computer company, International Computers, Ltd, rose 22 per cent to $958.6M in the year to last September 30. Pre-tax profit increased 24 per cent to 570.6 M. Profit growth and a lower tax change resulted in a 46 per cent increase in earnings per share, and the gross dividend for the year of 112 375 p a share, compared | with L1.25p in 1977, is the i maximum permitted under the current United Kingdom 1 dividend-control regulations.
