Navy doctor honoured
PA Wellington; The Royal New Zealand; Navy doctor who attended | Princess Margaret during her illness at the Tuvalu independence celebrations in October has been appointed a Member' of the fourth Class of the Royal Victorian Order. Temporary Surgeon Lieutenant - Commander Peter Robinson, of Auckland, receives the appointment in recognition of his services as ship’s doctor in the frigate Canterbury when Princess Margaret became ill. She! lived in the ship during the; celebrations.
