Rugby trip to U.S.A.
A High School Old Boys touring party of 25 leaves this morning for a rugby tour of the West Coast of North America.
The group of 23 players and two managers, will be away for three and a half weeks. Included in the trip are visits to San Francisco. Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Texas.
Six matches will be played by the team, including a tournament in San Diego, which will feature 50 teams.
The best known players on the trip are Ross McKenzie, the tour leader, who has played for Scotland B. and the senior team’s goal-kicking first five-eighth, Gary Cookson.
