CHRISTCHURCH. 4476 HEATHCOTE COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSAL TO CLOSE ROAD TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that the Heathcote County Council for the purpose of enabling the Canterbury Car Club to conduct a hill climb, proposes to close the following road to ordinary vehicular traffic, for the period Indicated hereunder: During the proposed period of closure, the following provisions will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic, which would otherwise use the road.

(1) Local property owners with access on to the closed portion of the road, are to be given immediate access on request. (2) Flag Marshalls at either end of the closed portion of the road are to be in contact by two-way radio, in order that the delay to other users of the road does ont exceed five minutes. Alternative provisions for ordinary vehicular traffic: nil.

Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge notice of his objection and grounds thereof, in writing before 4 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 1979, at the office of the Council at 66 Colombo Street.
