Mr J. M. Reed has been appointed chairman of A. H. and A. W. Reed. Ltd, New Zealand's largest publishing house. He will also act as managing director. Mr Reed is the third member of his family to occupy this position. His great uncle and his father (who founded the company) preceded him. — PA.
