Mighty Gav stood down
Mighty Gay has been declared ineligible to start again at a totalisator meeting until after November 18. This action was taken after the running of the Cnter- 1 bury Junior Free-for-all at Addington Raceway on Tuesday. Mighty Gay broke inside the last 200 m and went in on top of Smokey Lopez and Ganya, which lost his driver. C. H. G. Irvine. No Response was withdrawn from the Worthy Queen just as the totalisator was closing for the race. He apneared to be distressed and was declared unfit to start. Later in the day he was examined again and the veterinary surgeon recommended that r he horse be exam-] ined and passed fit before it] starts again. i
