Fulton leads competition
i The Old Collegians hats- 1 f man, Rod Fulton, has taken ' the lead . in the Lion Breweries “player of the day” series in the senior cricket championship. With a fine innings of 93 on Saturday, he gained a maximum three points and now has a total of seven, one ahead of Barry Thomas, Gerald Cummings (BumsideWest), and Bill Thomson (Sydenham).
’ In fifth place, with five points, is Miles Stapylton-. .Smith (St Albans'). i Saturdays awards were: Three points: Fulton. Henry, Sampson, Steve McNally, Thomson. Two: Tony Farrant, Stapyl-ton-Smith, John Bierwirth, George Carnoutsos. One: Stephen Bateman, Michael Johnston, Dayle Hadlee, Peter Visser.
