Australian Film and Television School invites applications for the position of HEAD: OPEN PROGRAM The School's Open Program runs short courses, seminars and workshops for those working in the film and television production industry, education and the community throughout Australia. It is also repsonsible for producing related resource materials. The person we seek to manage the Program needs to have a developed and articulate interest in the future of film and television in Australia He or she will be responsible for the long term planning and interests of the Branch. Liaison at management level with television companies, film production houses and educational bodies will be necessary. QUALIFICATIONS Sound professional, administrative and leadership capabilities, to«- oer with extensive film/television experience essential. A demonstrable interest in education and community use of film and video is also required. The Open Program will also be involved in professional radio and audio visual training and experience in these areas would be an advantage. SALARY AND CONDITIONS Range 524.825 - 526.842 per annum. This is a contract position. Conditions of Service are those generally applying throughout Commonwealth Government employment. LOCATION The Australian Film and Television School is located at North Ryde NSW but intrastate and interstate travel will be necessary.
