Blenheim Chateau sold
The Chateau Commodore Hotel at Blenheim has been sold but the proceeds are unlikely W be sufficient to pay all the creditors. The hotel has been bought by the company which owns the Autolodge Motor Hotel in Papanui Road, Christchurch. The price has not been disclosed but is believed to be considerably less than the Government valuation of more than SIM. The Government-appointed trustee (Mr K. J. Jensen) said it would take some time before final accounts were prepared. Legal action would then determine how moneys held in trust would

It would have I the same shareholders as Autolddge Investments (Christchurch), Ltd, which • owns the Autolodge Motor Hotel.
