More than 100 entries from as far away as Nelson, Queenstown, and Invercargill have been received for the third South Island Country Music Awards, which will be held in the Repertory Theatre on Sunday.

Guest artists will include Garner Wayne, Noel Parlane, who won the South Island Award last year, Jack Denley, of Timaru, and Jim Molberg, a pedal-steel guitarist, of Auckland.
