Flood relief appeal
More than $14,000 was contributed to the OtagoSouthland flood relief appeal by 812 delegates attending the national Round Table convention, held in Timaru over the last three days, j Most of the money was in the form of pledges contrib-
uted at a social gathering on Sunday evening. The convention organisers believe the final figure will exceed $15,000. As well as representatives from 85 Round Table clubs in New Zealand, 50 delegates from Australia- attended the I convention.
